Chapter Philanthropy and Service

“Here at Zeta Tau Alpha, we hold our philanthropy, breast cancer education and awareness, very close to our hearts. We raise money for the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation which supports our efforts to educate and empower people about their risks for the disease. We are nationally partnered with the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides walk, Bright Pink, and the National Football League. Psi Chapter at University of Washington has a multitude of different events to raise money and awareness throughout the year. This past year, we partnered with the Rivkin Center to host an educational workshop and UW Women’s Basketball to pass out ribbons and promote our philanthropy at their pink-out game. We host Crown Cup, our annual soccer tournament and philanthropy week, in the fall. Our Costco Pizza and Root Beer Float Feed is our winter fundraising event and it is a favorite in the Greek community. We are passionate about our philanthropy and dedicated to making the 1 in 8 women who will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime 0 in 8.”
