Chapter Philanthropy and Service
To our Newest Zeta Sisters,
At Zeta Tau Alpha our philanthropy is breast cancer education and awareness. As a sisterhood of women we all know how important it is and many of us have a personal connection as well. All of our proceeds go to the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation which supports scholarships, educational programming, leadership development and our fight against breast cancer. We are also national partners with Bright Pink, the NFL and the American Cancer Society. At Psi Chapter we have partnered with local organizations like the Rivkin Center for educational workshops and UW Athletics to pass out ribbons at different sporting events throughout the year, including PINK OUT games, in order to raise awareness. We have also been active on campus, passing out ribbons to our fellow students. We love seeing a pink ZTA ribbon on campus! Our big event of the year is our Crown Cup philanthropy week, which will be celebrating 20 years this fall. We stay active in raising awareness and money by having a feed every quarter and hosting other fundraising events throughout the year. We are passionately fighting for a future where 1 in 8 women who will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime is 0 in 8.
Zeta love,
Abby Crandall
